Barossa Valley Chocolate Company are dedicated to producing chocolates through the most ethnical and sustainable practices possible. This not only includes an emphasis on local ingredients, but ensuring our chocolate suppliers hold accreditations that speak to their commitment to improve the livelihoods of cocoa farmers and their communities. 

Our chocolate suppliers are members of the Cocoa Horizons Foundation, which promotes sustainable, entrepreneurial farming, improved productivity and community development to benefit the cocoa farmers and environment. This includes reinvesting programs, sourcing direct from farmer cooperatives and special programs to empower women farmers and young people. 

As a company, we are continually striving to improve our environmental footprint, with solar power, waste water and energy saving initiatives inherent to the daily business operations. Moreover, we are continually refining and developing new ways to provide sustainable packaging options and minimise waste.
