Is entry free?
Yes, and we are open any day, 9am till 5pm (except Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

Where are you located?
We are located in the heart of the Barossa Valley at 64 Burings Rd, Tanunda, South Australia. Just a short 1 hour drive from Adelaide.
What are your trading hours?
We are open every day, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, from 9am - 5pm.
Do you do group bookings?
The cafe does not take bookings.
We can offer your group of 8+ a set food and beverage package. Please contact us directly for a quote.
Are dogs allowed?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed on the decking or within the venue, however we invite you to bring them along, go for a walk around the water feature with them, and secure them while you are inside the complex.
Do you have outdoor seating?
Yes, we have a dining area on our deck overlooking the beautiful water. Enjoy a delicious meal from Benni’s Café or a glass of wine in a relaxing setting!
Do you offer free samples?
Yes, we have featured flavours in both the chocolate shop and ice creamery for tasting. Our cellar door also offers a list of complimentary offerings.
What kind of chocolate do you have?
Our range of chocolates include white, milk, 56% dark, 70% dark, and ruby chocolate.
Do you cater to dietary requirements?
We have chocolate that is sugar- and dairy-free. We make chocolate and other food items without gluten and nuts, but as it is all made in a commercial kitchen there may be traces.
In addition, some items in our café are also sugar- and dairy-free, please ask our friendly staff in the café for more information.
Our café has a large range of milk alternatives, including soy, almond and lactose-free.
What allergens are there?
Due to the manufacturing process at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, there may be trace elements of gluten and nuts in all products made on site.
Am I able to reserve a table in the café?
The cafe does not take bookings.
What hours does your café serve food?
Our café kitchen is open from 11am and last orders are taken at 4pm for meals. Coffee & cake is available 9am until 4:30pm.
What is the menu for Benni's Café?
Benni's Cafe serves a delicious menu of locally sourced food, that is both fancy and fun, to enjoy on our stunning deck overlooking the water.
Where possible, ingredients are locally sourced from Barossa Valley and surrounding districts.

Do you do wine tastings?
Yes, we have a fully functioning cellar door where you can purchase wine, enjoy a wine tasting or experience one of our wine and chocolate pairings.
Can you make bookings for the wine and chocolate pairing?
Yes, bookings are required for wine and chocolate pairings, particularly on our busier days. Please call 1300 4 CHOCOLATE or email firstname.lastname@example.org. While we accommodate walk-ins where possible, it is safer to book to ensure your place.

Do you offer wine flights, guided tastings or chocolate pairings?
Yes, our cellar door offers a selection of complimentary Vineyard Road wines, various featured wine flights and chocolate and wine pairing experiences. Check here for more details.

Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes, we do offer gift vouchers which can be spent anywhere in store with a minimum of $20. Ask our friendly staff for more details!
Can I bring my own cake or bottle of wine?
We have a range of affordable wines and our pastry chef can create a birthday cake for you with 7 days’ notice. Contact one of our friendly staff for more details.
Do you allow people to bring their own picnics?
We have a range of affordable and delicious food and wine options available at our café, so we ask our visitors to please avoid bringing their own picnics.
