Throughout July and August 2025 we are hosting our annual Winter Choc Fest in celebration of the stunning winter months and luxurious couverture chocolate! We will be serving hot chocolate all month long in a variety of ways. We have lots in store this year including our Dome Dining Experiences! Come and spend a winters day indulging in one of life’s greatest pleasures.

Join us for Winter Choc Fest 2025 with a stunning Winter Dome Dining Experience in Barossa Valley. Choose from a variety of delicious menu options for groups of 4 or 8 in the comfort of your own private dome.

Hot Chocolate Treats & Gifts

Our retail shop will feature a gorgeous winter collection including couverture chocolate coated marshmallows, chocolate callets in Milk, White and Dark Chocolate and a range of flavour- filled Hot Chocolate Pops to make your own signature hot chocolates at home. Perfect for gifts or to take home for those cosy Sunday mornings.

Chocolate Workshops & Activities

Throughout July and August we have a range of fun chocolate workshops and activities for the whole family.

Frosty Fun Workshops

For Children aged 5-12 we have fun filled workshop on where they will decorate a delicious giant freckle, create a yummy snow cop and more.

Choc-O-Block Workshops

For Children aged 5-12 we have fun filled workshop on where you will create and pour your own chocolate mini-figurines in a themed mould, experiment with bricks and edible ‘studs’ (mini M&M’s) to make a yummy explosion! .

DIY Rocky Road Making

For Children Teens and Adults, we have fabulous DIY Rocky Road kits to choose your cholate types and inclusions and then get busy creating your own signature block of Rocky Road just to your liking.

Winter Dome FAQs

Do you have any availabilities in the next 24 hours

For bookings within the next 24 hours please email to check availabilities and for us to help you plan your visit - enquiries@bvcc.com.au

Do you have dietary options?

Yes we can accommodate some dietary requirements, however if the entire party requires Dairy Free or Vegan Friendly we will have to create a new menu. If only a few items require dietary substitutes we can accommodate, however please note, some additional charges may be applied on the day, ie Gluten Free Pizza base +$3.



What if we have less than 4 or 8 people?

Unfortunately we have to set the domes at a set price, in order to keep them affordable. For those groups who have fewer guests, you have two tasty options, you can enjoy all the goodies yourselves on the day, or we are more than happy to package them up for you to take home!



What if we have more people?

The domes are really suited to the number of people we have assigned, if you would like one extra seat or a high chair, we may be able to add that, however there will not be additional food. If you require significantly more, we recommend booking more than one dome. Please note that babies on laps are fine and you can order additional food from Benni's Cafe if required.



What if we are late can we stay longer?

Unfortunately as we have to flip the domes for the next guests we do require that you vacate at the scheduled time. We have allowed 90 minutes for each booking, so we do encourage that you arrive on time.

Can we order more food and drink on the day?

Of course you are welcome to order any additional food and drink from Benni's Cafe, just let the team in the cafe know the dome in which you are dining.



What if it's raining and really windy, will we still sit in the domes?

No, if the weather is too inclement, we will notify you the day prior, where possible, and look to either reschedule, refund or we can seat you inside so you can still enjoy the experience as close to the action as possible.

Is it cold in the domes?

It most certainly can be!! It's Barossa, in winter and you're essentially outside. So yes, we do encourage you to rug up. That said, if the sun is shining it can get really warm and bright in the domes, we suggest wearing layers and packing the sunnies if it's a sunny or glary day!
